Quality, safety, legality of its products and commitment to the HALAL concept as well as respect and preservation of the environment and sustainability are commitments that the organization undertakes as the foundation of a strategic decision and commitment to the client, on which its image, its success and its position in the market depend.

We are committed to the well-being and the rights of people with physical and intellectual disabilities, integrating them into our production process through our collaboration with non-profit organizations.

With our company you will have at your disposal all new updates within the market. A perfect synchronization between all our departments allows us to satisfy the needs of our clients with speed and efficiency, guaranteeing that our products maintain their quality and innocuousness throughout the production process.

We commit ourselves to the VALUES of product quality and safety in our everyday business based on the following principles:

  • Complying with the requirements established in the Food Safety and Quality Management System, the legal and regulatory requirements applicable and the specifications required by the Halal Institute as well as being subject to the sanctioning regime of the RMGHJI.
  • Customer focus concerning legal requirements and cultural differences of export clients and/or external Halal standards, when appropriate.
  • The company outlines the responsibilities of its personnel in Halal matters and appoints a Halal manager as well as production supervisors.
  • All Halal products will be made exclusively with Halal certified ingredients.
  • Ensuring the development and compliance with hygiene guidelines
    Maintaining exhaustive product traceability.
  • Continually adapting to changes in our environment, and especially to the demands of our clients, being agile and quick in detecting opportunities for improvement and innovation, as well as carrying out their implementation.
  • Fostering a spirit of continuous improvement as a foundation in our daily business, seeking the most efficient and effective solutions.
  • Encouraging the development of potential in all those who are involved in the manufacturing process, developing their capacity for learning, growth and imparting the values that are the basis on which personal and professional pride for a job well done is based. The staff receive training regarding Halal production.
  • The involvement of senior management in the organization of responsibilities of all personnel, as well as in Halal matters.

To carry out this food quality and safety policy, management relies on its organization to which it communicates this policy and general lines of action, seeking to ensure that they assume quality in their work and identify with the image of the company. All this allows Torrons i Mel Alemany to grow and be recognized by its clients, complying with ethical and labour responsibilities.

This food quality safety policy is distributed, accepted, and put into practice at all levels of the organization, committing itself to continual improvement of the services it provides.
